Procedure for Submission of Drawings for Scrutiny |

| Rule 63 Inspection |
I.) New Electrical Installations 1) Consumer intending to install New EHV or HV Installations, IPPs, CPPs, Actual User of Energy, Wind mill etc.. should in coordination with licensed Electrical Contractor prepare and submit the drawings for the proposed installation to the Chief Electrical Inspector to Govt., Chennai-32 for scrutiny. The following are to be submitted: (i) Drawings for Electrical
scheme, Physical layout of machinery, Substation layout, Site plan, etc.., of
the proposed installation, duly signed by both Consumer & Contractor. 2) If the above is submitted in complete shape, the drawings will be scrutinized for conformance with rules and standards and any deviations will be included in the scrutiny report. II To make additions and/or alterations to existing Installation The following are to be submitted (i) Drawings for
Electrical scheme, Physical layout of machinery, Substation layout, Site plan,
etc.., of the proposed additions/alterations shown in distinct colours, duly
signed by both Consumer & Contractor. Depending upon the voltage class and capacity of the proposed additions &/ alterations, the drawings are to be submitted to relevant office
