- Shall have an independent office premises and workshop within the State of Tamil Nadu.
- To produce a Certificate from any nationalised bank to the effect that he is solvent to the extent of Rs.3,00,000/-.
- Shall have the following minimum staff on regular employment.
- B.E.(Mech) with 5 years of experience in erection of Lifts.
Or
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years experience in erection of lifts.
- B.E. (Electrical) with 5 years experience in erection of Lift
Or
DEEE with 8 years experience
- Two ITI holders with Electrician or Electronics Trade Two helpers, One ITI in fitter trade for erection.
- One ITI holder in Electrician Trade with two years Field experience and 'WC C' Licence issued by Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board.
- One Maintenance pair of staff for Maintenance of every 50 lifts in a calendar year with One ITI Electrician, One ITI Fitter and One Helper.
- Workshop of standard size with the following equipments.
- Lathe M/c
- Drilling M/c
- Atleast 5 KVA Welding M/c
- Hacksaw M/c
- Chain pulley block of 3 tonne capacity
- Standard weight trolley
- Clipon meter for measuring voltage current etc.
- Tachometer
- Meggar
- Earth Tester
- Shall have necessary safety gadgets like safety belts, headgears for entire staff engaged in the work of erection.
